Margaret Delaney (c.1796-1833)

Irish convict woman transported for seven years per Elizabeth II (1828) for stealing a shawl. Aged 19 on arrival in the colony in 1828, Margaret died at the Parramatta Female Factory in 1833 and was buried at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta.
