Police Report of HANNAH WALKER, 6 May 1826

Hannah Walker was requested to accompany the other ladies to the self same Factory for enticing away from its owner a full bottle of good cognac, and consequently draining it to the bottom, which she could have done with ease to many another – ay – “to the bottom, tho’ it were a mile.”
